The speakers, a variety of international experts, presented different approaches and teachings from a variety of international experts
concerning these two elements that is both a part of the green and the built cultural heritage in historic gardens. Challenges due to climate change were discussed as well as how modern technology can be used for documentation before deconstructing and re-laying stone structures. How to collect knowledge of a craft that in some parts of the world is diminishing rapidly and how to spread it both for professionals and the public were addressed.

Contributors

Kate Nicoll is the workshop coordinator in the Craft Skills for Garden Conservation project, and in that way, more or less involved in all project activities.
Jenny Nilsson is the presenter at the Hedges and Topiary cultivation-webinar. She is also very involved in the Lawn and meadow topic, as the presenter and speaker at the webinar and instructor at the workshop.
Joakim has a PhD in Garden Conservation and works at Gunnebo House and Gardens and the University of Gothenburg.
