Joakim has a PhD in Garden Conservation and works at Gunnebo House and Gardens and the University of Gothenburg.

Joakim Seiler is the Head Gardener at the 18th century estate Gunnebo House and Gardens and an adjunct lecturer at the Department of Conservation, University of Gothenburg, Sweden. He is a researcher in the field of craft science and historic gardens. He has specialized in garden conservation and traditional craft with the thesis Management regimes for lawns and hedges in historic gardens.
