WKGN is a non-profit making online organisation dedicated to advising the owners and would-be owners of such gardens with their restoration, history, planning applications, funding and future viability. She has published numerous books on the subject including ‘A Calendar of Gardeners’ Lore’ (Century), 1983; author and illustrator of ‘Cottesbrooke’ (Century), 1987; ‘Charleston Kedding’ (Ebury) 1996; ‘Walled Kitchen Gardens’ (Shire) 2002; ‘A History of Kitchen Gardening’ (Frances Lincoln) 2005, ‘The Garden Diary of Doctor Darwin’ (Unicorn) 2021.
