Renske Ek works as garden curator at Paleis Het Loo, the Netherlands. She has a PhD in tropical biology and is especially interested in the historic introduction of exotic plants into Europe.  

Renske is one of the speakers at the webinar ‘Ornamental Plants in Historic Gardens’ on the 15th of November 2022 on the topic: Reconstructing a historical garden, how to decide on period, plants and design. She is also a tutor/mentor on the «Ponds and fountains in Historic Gardens» workshop at Het Loo in June 2024.
