Lenka Cooke is a horticultural advisor for the Royal Horticultural Society. She has had a lifelong interest in horticulture and gained the RHS Diploma in Horticulture before starting her horticulture career working as a Senior Gardener at RHS Garden Wisley. Since finishing her BSc (Hort) in 2006, she has been working as an advisor.

Currently Lenka is on secondment with the RHS Digital web design team where she has been auditing pruning advice, redesigning and updating the most popular fruit growing webpages. Lenka carried out the original research for the project assessing box alternatives and ‘paved the way’ for Jenny Bowden to carry on with project whilst on the secondment. 

Lenka’s core work involves answering members gardening questions. She also contributes to The Garden and Grow Your Own magazines, gives talks and writes for the RHS website.
