Claudia Gröschel is a garden historian and a specialist in historical plant collections.
Claudia studied art history at the Universities of Heidelberg, Gießen and Bern. Since her internship at the garden administration of the Staatliche Schlösser und Gärten Hessen, she is working on garden history and historical plant collections. She lives in Vienna and works as a scientific officer at the Austrian Horticultural Society and the Austrian Federal Gardens. Together with her collegues of these two organizations she is responsible for the Vienna Citrus Days. For more than 30 years she is member of the Arbeitskreis Orangerien.
