For the last 12 years she has been the kitchen gardener in the two walled gardens at the National Trusts Dyffryn Gardens working to restore the productive gardens to their Edwardian splendour. On a holiday visit to Heligan Gardens she first realised there was such a role as a professional heritage kitchen gardener. This led to her studying Horticulture / Professional Gardening at Pershore College, Worcestershire . She then discovered the actual joys (and challenges) of working in Heritage Kitchen Gardening while a Historic and Botanical Gardens Trainee at Audley End House and Gardens. Ceridwen enjoy the application of the combination of horticultural science, craft skills and design awareness that create a productive and beautiful kitchen garden open for visitors to be inspired by.
