Jürgen Unger is a graduate engineer in landscape architecture and environmental planning. Foor his diploma he developed an evaluation grid for the designation of natural monuments. But he started tree care parallel to his studies and in 1996 climbed his first tree climbing championship. He set up his company Eichhorn Baumpflege in 2001. After training climbers, his training activities now focus on theoretical areas, tree protection on construction sites, tree inspectors, species protection, etc. He still climbs, but today his activities are equally split between tree care (tree preservation) / training / expert reports and tree inspection.
Practical tree maintenance is on the agenda when Jürgen Unger is a tutor on the Tree-workshop.
