Olav Amund Lie and Knut Arne Jacobsen is the owners of the firm ‘God Jord AS’. Since the establishment in 2018, they have been sharing their knowledge about biochar and it’s qualities – especially on how to use biochar as a resource to improve the soil and collect carbon. They arrange seminars on the topic at ‘Karskogen’, a small farm close to Jotunheimen mountain, where they demonstrate how to develop a sustainable and fertile soil without using fertilizer or plowing. During the Soil-workshop they will share their knowledge on biochar and demonstrate how to produce biochar in a Historic Garden context.
